Speed
Website slow? You are paying for visitors who leave before it loads.
A three-second delay costs a meaningful share of every visitor you paid for. If your site takes four seconds on mobile, you are funding traffic that never sees your offer. Send us the URL and we will test it on real devices and tell you exactly what is slowing it down and what the fix costs.
Four reasons our WordPress sites stay fast
Fast loading
Lean code and a performance budget agreed up front, which helps both visitors and SEO.
Hardened security
Fewer plugins and sensible permissions mean fewer ways in.
Room to grow
A clean structure that takes new pages, sections and features without breaking.
Easy to edit
A block library and admin set up around how your team actually works.
Built for performance from the start.
Whichever build you choose, every line of code has a job to do.
Core Web Vitals
Built to pass Core Web Vitals. We target 90+ Lighthouse performance on custom builds.
Semantic HTML5
Clean, accessible markup that search engines and screen readers both understand.
Hardened security
Login protection, automated backups and strict file permissions built in.
ACF block library
Flexible content blocks using Advanced Custom Fields, so your team can build pages without code.
Lean database
No leftover tables from deleted plugins. A lean database keeps the site fast.
Technical SEO
Schema markup, dynamic XML sitemaps and clean canonical URLs.
How we can build it
Six build options, chosen by budget and ambition.
Four ways to build, plus two upgrades you can add to any of them. There is no single right answer: a template kit launched next week can be the correct commercial decision, and a fully custom build can be an expensive mistake. We will tell you which one your situation calls for.
Build approaches and upgrades
Custom build, no theme
A theme written from scratch for your site alone, on an ACF block library. Nothing bought, nothing inherited, no code you will never use.
- Hand-coded theme, no parent theme underneath
- 12-block library your team assembles pages from
- Only the CSS each page actually needs
- Fastest possible WordPress result
Headless WordPress
WordPress stays as the editor your team knows. A Next.js front end serves visitors from the edge, so the CMS never sits in the request path.
- Next.js front end with incremental regeneration
- WPGraphQL or REST as the content layer
- Sub-second loads even under heavy traffic
- Same WordPress editing experience
Designed in Figma, then built
We design every page and every block in Figma first. You approve exactly what you are getting before a line of code exists, then we build it to the pixel.
- Full design system, tokens and components
- Desktop, tablet and mobile for every block
- Two revision rounds included
- Figma file is yours to keep
Premium theme, done properly
A licensed theme customized to your brand and then stripped of everything you do not use. Considerably cheaper than custom, and fine for most business sites.
- Theme selected for your content, not for the demo
- Child theme so updates never wipe your work
- Unused demo content and plugins removed
- Brand fonts, colors and spacing applied properly
Template kit build
The fastest and cheapest route. A ready-made kit adapted to your content and brand. We are upfront that it trades performance and originality for speed.
- Live in one to two weeks
- Kit license and setup included
- Content, forms and tracking configured
- Upgradeable to a custom build later
SEO and speed optimized builds
Any of the above, built to a written performance budget with technical SEO and schema in the templates rather than added by a plugin afterward.
- Core Web Vitals targets agreed up front
- Schema built into every template
- Keyword-mapped page structure and URLs
- Search Console, GA4 and tracking configured
Choosing
Which build approach is right for you.
The honest comparison. Most businesses under $2M in revenue do not need a custom build, and we will say so before taking the larger fee.

Specialist work and care plans
Ecommerce and WooCommerce
Stores that survive a traffic spike, with checkouts that do not lose a third of mobile sessions. Shopify work too where that is the better platform.
- Custom checkout and payment gateways
- Subscriptions and recurring billing
- Inventory, ERP and 3PL integrations
- Product feeds ready for shopping ads
Migration and deployment
Moving off Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or another host without losing the rankings you already earned. Cutover is monitored, not left to chance.
- Full URL mapping and redirect strategy
- Content, media and product data migrated
- Staging build and side-by-side review
- Search Console watched daily for 14 days
Hacked site and error recovery
Malware, redirects to gambling sites, a white screen, a critical error after an update. We clean it, harden it and get you live again.
- Full malware scan and manual code review
- Clean restore, not just a plugin scan
- Blacklist removal and reindex request
- Hardening so it does not happen twice
Hosting, support and maintenance
Managed hosting on infrastructure we actually monitor, plus updates tested on staging and someone who answers when it breaks at eleven at night.
- Managed hosting with CDN and SSL included
- Updates tested on staging before live
- Daily backups with restores actually tested
- Monthly development hours included

Skincare brand, WooCommerce rebuild.
Ecommerce, direct-to-consumer skincare
A checkout losing a third of mobile sessions
Built on a premium theme with a page builder and forty-one plugins. Mobile took 4.1 seconds and the checkout ran to five steps. We rebuilt on a custom theme with a twelve-block library, cut the checkout to two steps and removed twenty-six plugins by moving their work into the theme.
Get an estimate for your storeThe process
Six phases. You sign off at the end of each one.
Nothing moves forward until you have approved what came before, which is how projects avoid a rebuild at week eight.
Discovery
Your business, your funnel and what the current site gets wrong. Sitemap and page count agreed, which is what the price is built on.
Week 1
Architecture
URL structure, redirect map, block library specification and the performance budget, all signed off before design begins.
Week 1 to 2
Design
Every block designed at desktop and mobile. On Figma projects you approve the full design system before any code exists.
Week 2 to 4
Build
Custom theme or configured theme, block library, integrations and tracking, developed on staging with version control.
Week 4 to 8
Test
Real devices, real browsers, real numbers against the agreed performance budget, plus accessibility and prelaunch SEO checks.
Week 8 to 9
Launch and handover
Monitored cutover, redirects verified, Search Console watched for 14 days, then training so your team can run it.
Week 9 to 10
Timeline shown is for a custom theme build. Template kit builds run one to two weeks, headless builds run ten to sixteen.
Standard on every build
Eight things included whatever you spend.
You own everything
Domain, hosting account, code and analytics all in your name from day one. Leaving costs you nothing but notice.
Mobile first, tested on real devices
Not just a browser window resized. Most of your traffic is mobile and that is where we build and test first.
SEO foundations in the templates
Clean URLs, heading structure, sitemaps, canonicals and meta handled at template level rather than page by page.
Analytics and conversion tracking
GA4 and Tag Manager with real form and call events, not a pageview tag pasted in the header.
Staging and version control
Git repository and a staging environment on every project. Nothing gets edited live, and every change is reversible.
Accessibility baseline
Keyboard navigation, focus states, contrast and semantic markup, with WCAG 2.2 AA as the working target.
Security hardening
Sensible permissions, login protection, file editing disabled, and no plugin doing a job that belongs in code.
Training and documentation
A recorded session plus written docs, so a new hire in eighteen months can still run the site without calling us.
Works well with
What we usually run alongside a build.
Speed and Core Web Vitals
Ongoing monitoring so performance does not drift after launch.
Google Ads
Landing pages and conversion tracking built alongside the site, ready for paid traffic.
